At the completion of this workshop, participants should be able to:

Clarify the context and purpose for using lived experience

Determine boundaries of sharing lived experience and prepare aspects of their story

Understand trauma, re-traumatisation and vicarious trauma; and implement strategies for prevention.

Use lived experience to establish your work role

Utilise a range of communication skills and strategies to establish rapport and maintain safe working relationships in relation to using your lived experience

Support others to share their stories; and

UtilisUtilise reponsible self-care strategies
